Day 18

We arrived in Phnom Penh at 7am today. Uni started at 8, there was no time to go home and refresh. The day felt quite long. Luckily we only had one Khmer lesson today, the one in the morning. The rest of the day we worked on some machinery and did maintenance and usage guides for the machines we were working on. In the second month, we will not only be repairing machines. We will also write maintenance instructions and Usage guides for the repaired machines. A lot of times staff is not properly trained with the specific models of the machines they are using. Not using the machine properly or not maintaining it according to the user manual, can cause the machine to break in the long term. Hence, when we fix them, we write usage and maintenance guides to prolong the machine’s life time.We were all very glad when we finished today. Our homestay cousin visited us again this afternoon. She taught us some Cambodian card game that is very similar to Black Jack.
