Day 42

Today we tested another electrolyte tester. This one was giving very wrong readings. It was even outside of the range of calibration. We put some peroxide in the cleaning water and will let it sit for a day or two. Hopefully there was just a built up in the tubes that can be fixed by the cleaning.

There was also and all around blood tester that was broken. It wouldn’t print result which makes recording of the results difficult. Turns out the printer head was broken. We contacted the manufacturer for help.

We also worked on a NTA (Nose, Ear, and Throat) unit. I messaged the manufacturer and asked them for the manual for the machine. The model was very old and the manual not available online. They replied very quickly and I spent a lot of time reading the manual.
