Day 34

I had to get up really early today to go back to Phnom Penh and get on a bus to Battambang. It was sad to already say goodbye to our homestay family. Even though we did only have a few days together, we had gotten quite close.

Back in PhnomPenh,I I got on a minibus that drove me to Battambang. It was an around 6 hours long bus trip (including breaks). When I arrived in Battambang, the sister of the new homestay family picked me up at the bus station and took me to the house. The place is a few kilometres away from the city centre and the hospital. Most likely I will rent a bike tomorrow to save me some time traveling to the hospital in the morning.

We are (now) a group of three people in this hospital group. I’m sure we will have lots of fun during the next weeks.
